1. Turn-Mill Composite Motorized Spindles
Years ago, when domestic turn-mill composite machine tools were just getting started, a professional machining center enterprise planned to develop equipment that could replace imported turn-mill composite machine tools. The high-precision, high-speed motorized spindle was a very critical component. Our machine tool customer decided from the beginning to choose imported motorized spindles from Germany or Switzerland. However, since only 1-2 spindles were needed for the prototype development, the customer asked several Swiss and German spindle suppliers and got very high prices with long lead times. In addition, due to intellectual property issues, domestic customers cannot completely copy foreign equipment and spindles; some local adjustments to the spindle were necessary. Other European spindle manufacturers were unwilling to make adjustments and only wanted to sell their existing standard products. All of this put the customer in a difficult position.
Based on the customer's specific requirements, we communicated repeatedly with our Swiss headquarters and finally customized a motorized spindle for the customer, with cost and lead time within the customer's expectations. The spindle has been in continuous use for nearly ten years and is still running normally!
2. Motorized Spindles for Combined Internal/External Cylindrical Grinding Machines
A well-known domestic grinding machine enterprise took on a national key R&D project to develop a composite grinding machine that could replace imported European machine tools. One machine includes several motorized spindles: external cylindrical grinding, face grinding, high-speed internal grinding, and dressing spindles. The internal grinding spindle runs at very high speed and requires an oil-air lubrication system. According to the customer's needs, our Renaud team communicated with the customer's design staff many times and finally specified a complete spindle system solution for the customer, including a high-precision external cylindrical grinding motorized spindle, a high-precision face grinding motorized spindle, a high-speed high-precision internal grinding motorized spindle, an oil-air lubrication system, and a high-precision frequency converter. In the final bidding, thanks to our excellent product quality, professional and efficient service, and relatively favorable cost, we successfully won the bid.
After the products arrived, we communicated with the customer in time and helped with on-site installation and commissioning, enabling the machine to reach the expected design requirements. The equipment has been running for several years and its performance remains excellent.
3. High-Speed Test Motors
An important domestic military enterprise was developing an aircraft fuel pump seal test bench and needed a high-speed, high-precision drive motor. Ordinary motors only reach a few thousand rpm, which could not meet the customer's requirements, and their precision was far from sufficient. Professional imported motorized spindles could meet the speed, power and precision requirements, but the size and shaft output method of the customer's test motor differed from common motorized spindles and required customization by the spindle manufacturer. However, most European motorized spindle manufacturers are unwilling to customize for small-batch products. We conveyed the customer's needs to our Swiss headquarters, which customized a solution. In the end, we not only provided a high-speed motor that met the requirements, but also put forward suggestions on installation, operation and product maintenance according to the customer's specific application conditions, perfectly solving the customer's problem!
